I have a new build with a Asus prime z390-a, the issue is when I started it for the first time and was going through the operating system setup it doesn’t recognize any network. When I try to update the lan driver it tells me that the Realtek network controller was not found. If in deep sleep mode is enabled please plug the cable back.

So far I have tried checking the bios and computer settings for a deep sleep mode but have found none.
I tried updating the chipset and utilities drivers before the LAn driver but still nothing.
Last I tried resetting the BIOS setting with no results.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
The Asus uses an Intel chip for the network.
You can get your motherboard drivers right from Asus:
