Question New PC build won't POST, CPU fan won't spin

Hi all first time PC builder here at my wits end at this point as I can't figure out exactly what's wrong.

These are my components all brand new:

CPU: Intel Core i5-11600K F 3.9 GHz 6-Core Processor

Cooler: be quiet! Pure Rock 2 Black CPU Cooler

Motherboard: ASRock Z590 Extreme WiFi 6E ATX LGA1200 Motherboard

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory

SSD: Western Digital Black SN850X 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive

GPU: Acer Predator BiFrost OC Arc A770 16 GB Video Card

PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow RGB ATX Mid Tower Case


Put everything together and went to fire it up RGB on everything lit up, GPU fan was spinning, CPU and case fans were not. No display to monitor and CPU and DRAM lights red on MOBO. Disassembled everything and reassembled outside the case just the CPU, cooler, single stick of RAM, and GPU. Hooked up the 8 pin and 24 pin connectors and hit the power button, same as before. RGB on MOBO and GPU turn on, GPU fan spins, CPU cooler does not. I've tried connecting the cooler to both CPU FAN 1 and 2 as well as a CHASIS FAN header none of them have worked.

Sounds like the cooler's fan isn't working. Do you have another system you can test that fan on?

Edit: Sorry, just noticed your case fans aren't working either. Probably a motherboard issue if none of the fans are working.

I do not unfortunately.

I forgot to mention that I tried connecting one of the case fans instead and it didn't spin either.

Im assuming you have the fans going to the mobo? It does sound like a bad mobo.
