New pc Build

I want to build my first pc but don't really know where to start with how much to spend on each part.
I would like to keep the pc to about $1000 including the os. Could someone please help?
I would like to use it for gaming

I recommed watch some vids on YouTube, and learn how to build the pc ..

h170 or H110 mobo,
8gb DDR4 2133 mhz ram.
SSD primary drive
1 or 2tb HDD
cheap case
550 - 650w PSU (of good quality)
+ the most expensive GPU you can afford

If you need a monitor get a true 24" IPS, PLS or HVA monitor

Try pcpartpicker.com - It is a very good website. You can pick the parts you want, and it will tell you if they are compatible or not, and they have a price for most products, with helpful reviews.

Try using it (put a parts list together) and post the sharing link in this forum post. There are also build guides and completed builds so you can take ideas from other people.

Good build for the budget. I like the 8gb video card.
