New pc build

I'm trying to build a pc and I was wondering if this is something that would work!
So far i've been reading some guides and watched some vids but i feel like i still miss a few things.
This is what I got so far:

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 7 1700 3.0GHz 8-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: NZXT - Kraken X62 Rev 2 98.2 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
MB: Gigabyte - GA-AX370-Gaming ATX AM4 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Trident Z RGB F4-3200C16D-16GTZR
Storage: Seagate - FireCuda 1TB 2.5" 5400RPM Hybrid Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 AMP Edition 8GB

Still need to find a case but isnt a priority.
Already have a Powersupply: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2
Also have an SSD already: Samsung Pro.

Any suggestions or thing i need to swap out/change?

Also tips and tricks are always welcome .

Intel's coffeelake cpu's are right around the corner. I would hold off on a build if you can as it might bring AMD to drop their prices some or you might get a better system for the same monies.

What is your major usage? If gaming, what resolution/setting/FPS?

I don't know - the R7-1700 is pretty cheap right now. It's around $270 which puts it in i5-7600K territory.

If you are planning on 144hz gaming, the 8600k releasing next month is a better bet.
