I am looking for a fairly high end build to play games like just cause, last of us, and doom. I need help with compatibility and price. I’m not sure if any parts are overkill or something I can downgrade to save some money. I also plan on overclocking.

You spend en extra 20 dollars and get the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB SC GAMING ACX 3.0 just wanted to point this out since your getting the 1070 and do not think that your system is an overkill!

I would up the RAM to 16gb too if you can budget it.

Changed Motherboard to a very solid cheaper one that will overclock well. Removed CPU cooler. Stock cooler is great. Changed RAM to 3000mhz and,16GB. Upgraded to 480GB SSD. Upgraded to 1070ti.
