first build seems better, GPU is almost the same, and discs will be much faster on NVME.

One thing I would like to mention, if that HDD will be 2.5 it will be slow as f*ck, if its 3.5 it will be loud.

if you want 1080p 144hz
Go for I7-9700k build. Ryzen can not do for demanding triple AAA titles. RTX 2070 will be more than enough as well.
Tbh, i dont have enough money to transition to intel, this is the maximum i could get for 1700ish USD, since im coming from third world country.. Im just trying to squeeze just a little bit more with some variations in build, but ryzen and rtx stay as base of my build :D

I was just thinking about futureproofing my pc, because im not planing to change it for atleast 2 3 years. That is why i was thinking about 2080
I still think it's a bit waste of $, that you could use next year or 2, for a lot more gain.
We don't force, just recommend, its in the end whatever you're decided.
2080 might be a good choice as if your game is in 1080p it might even do it silently.
pull the trigger if that's what seems good, you cannot be wrong here with either choice.
