Hey everyone.
Not new to PCs but just never built my own PC.

Considering buying some new components and building one myself, this is gonna be a noob question but besides the usual components what else do I need?
E.g do I need to buy the EPS cables or are they included? I'm worried I'm gonna forget to buy the little things haha, especially when it comes to cabling.

Also, should I go with AMD or Intel? I do a lot of video editing and animation work as well as a lil bit of gaming at 1080p.
Located in Aus with max a 2k AUD budget.

Cheers

Generally all necessary power cables are included with the psu.
Most motherboards come with at least 2 x sata data cables.

Pretty much all you should need extra is a Philips crosshead screwdriver and common sense/patience.

If you need help selecting components you should make a post outlining intended uses, location and budget.

You will get plenty of good and helpful information.
