Hello! I am going to be building a pc at around Christmas, and I have picked out a few parts that I am most likely going to use to build the computer ( I will build it myself ). Could somebody comb through this, and tell my if this is a decent build for 1080p/1440p gaming at 60+fps at high to ultra settings (In 1440p, I dont mind if the fps is sub 40 ish)

A few questions:

1. Is this all compatible?

2. Will I get the desired fps

3. CONCERN: On the motherboard, is looks like the pci x16 slot for my single gpu might not be big enough for the r9 390. I have another motherboard incase it wont fit, but I really like this one because of price/colour.

4. Any changes you would make are welcome

5. Please dont just make an entirely new build, I would rather somebody critic this down to the bare minimum and add a lot, then to just rebuild it xD

Thanks!

Solution
1) Yes, no worries there
2) Yes, a great card even at 1440p
3) Nope, 100% compatible 😀
4) Nothing really, if I were to make any changes it would be for my personal preference only. You have selected a decent build. And most of all a good PSU to run it. But if I had to scrutinise one part it would be the SSD. I would get a 256 GB over 128GB. I think you will be surprised how quickly 128GB gets used up!
