My new build with a ryzen 5 3600xt, NZXT kraken 53 cooler, Gigabyte Aurus master x570, Msi rtx 3080, 16gb g skills trydent royal 4000 cls15, in a cooler master h5000 case
My cpu temp at idle was jumping from 46 c to 58c contently . I set the pump to 100% cooler fans to 100% and now its from 40c-50c at idle. I ran a prime 95 test for about 5 mins and it got to 82c so i stopped it. Is this typical or potental cpu/ cooler problem?

Solution
The 7nm architect on the 3000 series tends to run hotter than previous generations.

I have similar reading like yours (I am on the stock cooler) on my 7-3800x. It got up to 83 or 84 when I rendered video. But it never got above that and it didn't throttle.
