Hello, I have been trying to install any form of windows on my new pc for over 2 days. I have used 2 different usbs, windows 7, 8, and 10, rufus to try to make the iso, unetbootin on my mac, and the default windows iso maker. Everytime I boot up the install it freezes at a random point. Last night I was able to install linux onto my computer as my friend said this was a good idea to try to make the iso on there. Linux also freezes randomly throughout my use. Does anyone have any idea how I could fix these issues? Or do you think something is broken. I ran a memtest and my ram did pass that so I do not think that ram is the issue with my build.

This is my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/NWhwwP

Solution
A Faulty CPU is very rare. I would check to make sure not pins are bent and that the CPU fan and heatsink are running and connected properly.

Also check the RAM. Run Memtest 86+ to verify the memory is not faulty./

There doesn't appear to be a way to test the sandisk ssd without windows being installed on it.. not handy really. Did you try to install onto hdd and see if its the ssd at fault?

can test the seagate hdd but unless you installing to it, thats not helpful: http://www.megaleecher.net/Seagate_SeaTools_For_DOS_Bootable_USB_Maker_Kit#axzz487NEJk00

it may/may not be the PSU, is it new? Are all parts new as GPU is pretty cheap

can run this on CPU but its unlikely to be the CPU: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19792/Intel-Processor-Diagnostic-Tool

Did you update the bios?

Everything is new but the gpu which i got from a friend for free. I have tried both the ssd and hdd and they both fail. I have tried the bios update and it did not help.
