just want a new pc for some mid-range gaming, music and watching some movies. Games I mostly do play are Warhammer 2 (and 3 when it comes out) and RPGs (BG3/Pathfinder). I already made two lists. I just wanted to know if these work together and what should be changed?

What would you pick? Do these work together? I am bit unsure about the case (a lot of differing opinions) and the power supply (enough)?

I personally feel the main components of the Spec 2 are stronger. The 5600X is certainly faster than the 10400, and IMO the Tomahawk motherboard is a good choice. Reviews seem to tend towards the 6600XT being marginally faster as well.

I would pick build 2, personally . Samsung 970 evo is a nice drive, but a bit overpriced. Ryzen works better with faster ram. I would choose 3600 cl16 ram. That PSU should be ok. The 6600xt is about as fast as a 5700xt/2070s, while the 3060 is more like a RX 5700/2060s. Not sure where you are shopping from, to get those prices, but this is fairly close.

I do feel 600watts is right on the edge of what I would get for PSU power. I would aim for at least 650 watts, if its available.

550w is what's recommended for the RTX 3060.

Yes any decent 600 watts PSU from tier A or B should be enough for that setup. Thats why I wrote, as my personal point of view:

If OP have the luck to upgrade in 2023 (been very optimistic) to a higher end GPU, he will most likely have to get a new PSU too.

But hey, OP can buy whatever he wants.
