Hi,
I would like to assemble a new PC for productivity, photo editing and 1080p gaming. I have chosen the following components. Please share your valuable opinions regarding their suitability for the intended usage and your views.
  1. INTEL CORE I5-12400F 12TH GEN 6-CORE 12-THREADS 2.5GHZ ALDER LAKE DESKTOP PROCESOR
  2. GIGABYTE B660M DS3H AX DDR4 (WIFI) INTEL 12TH GEN LGA 1700 MOTHERBAORD
  3. ADATA XPG 16GB (8*2) 3200 DDR4 MHZ SPECTRIX D60G RGB RAM
  4. SAMSUNG 980 1 TB M.2 NVME SSD
  5. 5.EVGA 650 BR 80 PLUS BRONZE CERTIFIED 650 WATT SEMI MODULAR POWER SUPPLY
6. ANTEC NX260 MID TOWER GAMING CABINET
7. MSI RX 6600XT MECH 2X 8GB GDDR6 OC EDITION GRAPHICS CARD

Whats your breakdown for each use (Ie how much % gaming, editing, etc).
For photo editing, youll want a secondary drive for bulk storage (an HDD will work for this).
16GB of RAM is a solid start, but may leave you wanting more.

If photo editing is a primary use, what software suite do you use to edit? Some may benefit from an Nvidia card, others may not.

Thanks for your inputs.
I would use the system 30% for gaming, 40% for editing and rest for basic productivity.
I intend to use Adobe Photoshop/ Lightroom, Cyber link power director mostly.
