Question new pc freezes

*I recently upgraded my pc to an i7 9700k with a new motherboard which is the MPG 2390 gaming edge ac. After 5 minutes of turning the pc on it freezes. however, when i'm in bios it does not freeze. I have tried reinstalling windows on another ssd, but it freezes when I have to put in the code for windows.

When reinstalling Windows again do you install any other software?

Could be downloading windows updates, I know this can seem like freezing the system up... have you just left it for a while?

The only thing that is being installed is windows, i'm using a usb stick to install it.
