Question New pc hard drive help

New pc, have a ssd and hdd windows installed on ssd. But once launched into windows no hard drive is apparent. We’ve tried booting without hard drive attached and it booted faster when hard drive is plugged in, it gives me a black screen for about a minute before booting into windows.
 
Check in disk management. You may just need to assign a drive letter to it.
If that's not it then see if the drive is listed in the bios. If it is then make sure CSM is on and Secure boot is off in the bios.
This presumes the HDD is from a windows pc.

It’s not showing up in disk management I cannot assign a letter to it
