New PC has slower internet speed than old pc?

This likely has nothing to do with the PC. This sounds router/ service related.

the pc has 802.11 ac wireless connection i have no idea if that good or bad could u or someone else reccomend a wireless adapter that could work great? incase u need my internet provider its bt

That is VERY good. It is the newest generation of Wifi.

You will not be able to get a better adapter.

the thing is my old pc was in teh same exact place and it had x2 the internet speed. ye im on a home network

the wifi signal is as good as my old computers aswel

What kind of network adapter is in each PC? Are they the same? Can you temporarily switch them?
Some adapters, regardless of designation, have poor antennas and have difficulty maintaining a strong signal. If the old PC uses an add-in card, and the new one uses a USB adapter, I'd say that's the reason right there.

If you try with an ethernet connection directly to the router, what speed do you get?

Both computers used built in Wifi and they both get the same signal strengh, i cant plug my ethernet cable in becuase the router is too far away

Can you move the PC closer to the router temporarily?
