New pc, hdmi graphics card doesnt work PICS

Ok I have bought a new PC, just arrived and i plugged it in and the screen resolution is stuck 800x600 and the screen is like this (see pic below) tried upgrading the graphics card its nvideo gtx 960 and it made no difference. I cannot plug DVI into my tv but can plug VGA and this graphics card does not have the option for this. Any help

Unistall the Drivers! and try reinstalling the new drivers. Mayb it will help

Have you tried to manually change the screen resolution? Did that not work

What are your current specs? If you have a 4k TV or likewise, it might be putting too much stress on your GPU.

No its an old lg lh3000. There is no option to manually change the resolution of the tv unfortunately.

Try to reseat your GPU, and make sure all power is correctly plugged in.

You probably either don't have the correct drivers installed, or don't have them at all. Go to the manufacturer of your GPU's website, and install the driver from there.

ive tried that a few times went to the manufacturers website and downloaded going to conclude faulty 🙁
