New PC Help, Intel core 2 quad Q6600 7870XT Bottleneck?

Hello,
I'm new to PC Gaming but know how to overclock.
My PC:
Q6600 with 6gb ddr2 ram, and a MSI G31TM-P21 pro series motherboard, zalman CNPS x14 air cooler.
How much can I overclock and what fps should I get in BF4 Ultra settings @ 1080p?
Also is the core 2 quad a bottleneck, and if I OC it can that fix it?
All I need is 40fps ultra bf4 1080p.

look into the BIOS, and look for FSB in the frequency area.

this all depends on your graphics card, cpu overclock won't do much if you don't have a beffy graphics card, if you don't have at least a GTX 760 or r9 270 then good luck getting bf4 ultra.

EDIT: didn't see that HD 7870 you had, so if that's the case, it can be possible to do bf4 ultra.

Q6600 is definitely a bottleneck, even overclocked.
I had q8300 and it was struggling in BF3 with 7850 2GB.

A 7870xt is better than a r9 270 its like a r9 270x but a bit better... Will the core 2 quad bottleneck it?

How bad? What settings did you use and what fps? Also would an xeon E5430 help? I can do the LGA 775 mod with that cpu...
I'm desperate because I have to ship this PC to a friend and he paid me to make one for him...
