I'm not sure what happened.
I've connected the Logitech G502 HERO mouse, it uses max 16000 DPI if i remember correctly.
Logitech GHUB is NOT being used, never has been.
When i was in the BIOS or was it in the OS, can't say for sure, a message came up saying something like a high DPI device was detected and could be optimized.
That's not exactly what it said but something like that, the notification came from amd-radeon i believe.
Could be this happened after installing AMD Adrenalin graphics drivers and chipset.

In Windows settings i already lowered the mouse sensitivity to near zero because it's way, way too high.
Games are barely playable, the sensitivity is out of this world.
Anyone got an tips?

Update:

I've installed logitech GHUB on my old pc and looked at the configuration for my old G502 HERO mouse, the DPI is set to 2400. Then i connected the new G502 HERO mouse and set the settings to be the exact same as with my old mouse.

Now after this i reconnected my new G502 HERO mouse to my new pc and all of a sudden the cursors moves so extremely slow that it's a pain to even do anything on this system right now.
I reminded myself there are windows mouse properties in the controlpanel, then remembered the pointer speed from my old pc and set the same on the new one.

Problem solved. Or so i thought. But no, for some reason with the same DPI set to 2400 and the same pointer speed set in windows mouse properties, the mouse cursor on the new pc moves way faster.
AMD Adrenaline doesn't show any results when searching for DPI.
I'll have a look if any results show up in BIOS.
But it would be strange if the BIOS interfeared with the mouse pointer speed.

It just sucks i can't remember what the prompt said but something changed the DPI and i don't know what or how.

Thanks anyways but no way ill be using ghub spyware.
That software-spyware doesnt even have an offline installer.
It forces you to grant it internet access to phone home.
If this isnt a red flag i cant help.
Adjusting mouse sensitivity through windows settings and ingame works just fine, and theres probably opensource tools out there to configure dpi anyway.
Ofc windows has a built in keylogger but lets not unnecessarily hand over all keyboard input to logitech by using their ghub spyware. Aint worth it.

Pro gamers are not allowed to use G-hub or its much better predecessor Logitech Gaming Software. Something about having running software that can intercept inputs and modify them while gaming being seen as cheating. So they instead use the portable Logitech Onboard Memory Manager to program in the memory slots of the mouse's onboard memory. It exits and doesn't stay running.

Never use the Windows setting to change dpi as it can only interpolate data that isn't there if you increase sensitivity, or discard a set number of packets for each reduced sensitivity setting. For this reason I've left it in exactly the middle for more than 30 years, since the days of Windows 3.0.

BTW the current G502 Hero is 25,600dpi max with the five programmable presets selected using the dpi buttons on the top left of the mouse.

The previous 16,000dpi G502 Hero was released in 2018. Before that the G502 was 12,000dpi.
