New pc, new lag.

Alright so I recently bought a new pc ( 1 month ago ) and keep getting new lag problems.

The first problem was twitch, I can't open more than 1 stream at a time otherwise it lags, and even with 1 stream open, I can't play any games since it makes it lag.

Whenever I play World of Warcraft, Dota 2, Hearthstone I don't seem to have any lag.

I tried running Watch Dog or Dead Rising 3, it was awful but friend told me those game were just badly optimized for PC.

I just recently started back playing Minecraft with friends with a bought server ( realm ) and for some odd reason I have around 20-40 fps while playing it...

All those problems where not there with my previous worse build.

Note* I've had about 3-4 blue screen yet...

Windows 7 64 bit
Geforce GTX 770 4gb
i7-4770k CPU @ 3.50GHz
16 GB ram DDR3 (2x8)
Motherboard H87M-PLUS
240GB SSD
1.8TB HDD

Have you checked the CPU for temps? Increased lag can be caused by high temps.

Also, I was wondering if it could possibly be my ram being faulty, I swapped them with my 2 old ones ( 2x2gb ) and I could successfully run 2 twitch without lagging, BUT still had the minecraft lag issue.

Get a decent CPU cooler, such as a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, and reapply thermal paste. The idle and load temps are high. Also, what are the RAM speeds and latency timings?

Well, I tried my new ram thinking they could possibly not be pushed in enough and fair enough I can run 2 stream at a time with them but still have the minecraft issue, no idea if it's my pc or minecraft related ( same with watch dog/dead rising 3 )

I'm not overclocking wouldn't the normal cooler be enough? I also have the Cooler Master Stryker case.
