Question New PC,no ethernet..ASUS HERO X

Build a 3000€ pc
Cant even use it because no ethernet connection
Motherboard Asus Maximus Hero X
Tried to download LAN drivers, press "yes" in "AsusSetup" and nothing happens
At all

Have you tried updating the board's BIOS? In the end, supposing that the LAN adapter was defective, you can either return the board, or install a PCIe LAN adapter.

Me returning my motherboard would be a death row,already did liquid cooling on it and living in a third world country its [censored] impossible to do so : /
I did not update BIOS drivers
And i doubt that will help will it?

You can try it. The PCIe card would also be an option.

no need to use profanity you might get in trouble with moderators so best to edit them out.

also if the ethernet port is defective just return it, if you ordered online then it might take a while but its your only choice, stuff like this happens you just have to be patient could be worse. but if you bought from a physical store then its easier just get back to them and tell them your problem usually theres a week or two for returns in a physical store as long as you have your receipt.
