So this is the second try at this post because I got the wrong CPU, but doing the exact same thing so here goes. So I have finally resulted in asking the community about an issue I am having with a new pc I am building for my girlfriend. It isn't the best build ever to be put together but it should work none the less, everything seems compatible after thorough checks.

So my problem lies within the 'No input signal' from the monitor. I am an avid pc builder and have built many computers so I do know what I am doing. I have had this problem before with easy fixes but this has got me stuck. I have done everything in the book to try and fix this issue. I have reseated the RAM and placed it in multiple seats. I have taken the graphics card out and have tried a vga cable from the motherboard to no aveil. I have tried HDMI, DVI and VGA cables, once again does not work. All of the lights and fans spin perfectly, the light trim on the motherboard comes on so everything is powers on. Only thing I can think of, is that my CPU isn't getting powered. I have taken out my CPU multiple times to check after leaving the pc on for about 20-30 minutes fast after turning it off, -!: it is not warm at all, it is dead cold. The 4 pin CPU power is connected and have tried that thousands of times I feel like, so no idea what is going on there. Even if it was connected it should still get warm. The CPU fan is connected properly and firm, the CPU itself, have checked the pins and they are all straight none are bent, it sits perfectly, heat sink applied well. The hard drive is running I can here it turn on and spin. All of the parts are brand new and there shouldn't be any faults with them what so ever, no matter what people say about their parts, 1 in thousands is defected out of the factory so it's highly unlikely that's the case. I have checked for shorts in the system, it deffinetely isn't shorting it out. I really don't understand what is the problem. I really hope someone can take the time to read all of this and hopefully discover the problem. Probably a long shot but I really hope someone can help, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks In advanced, Jason.

1) The monitor itself is definitely ok?
2) Any beeps when powering up? If not, then it sounds like it could be a dead motherboard...

it's also worth trying the gpu in a different pc - just to check

Hi there, the monitor is 100% brand new also, and have tried multiple monitors. No beeps at all when powering up, purely because the motherboard didn't come with one and I don't have one spare, even though I don't have a beep, I have tried everything really relating to beep code problems anyway but thats probably my next cause of action getting a speaker.

And the 12v ATX Connector is the 4 pin connector for the CPU is plugged in clearly in the photos, it is a split 4 pin, so we might be talking about the wrong thing? Inform me please, thanks guys.

The GTX 10xx series only supports digital. Would ignore VGA D-sub on the motherboard as I am assuming goal is not to use that..

yes, any beep codes helpful.

Unplug the reset switch in case it is stuck.

Pull the graphics card, and all internal cables not related to immediately booting the system (power switch, 24 and 4 pin power cables, cpu fan cable). You are trying to get a display, can worry about the other connections later and guarantees not a problem in those devices/connections interfering with results. Use the rear USB ports for mouse and keyboard. Try booting with those NOT plugged in as well.

Ram from a working system to doublecheck that?

Do a CMOS reset via the jumper.

Do you have another power supply to test with in case of a delivery problem there?

Yeah I think getting a speaker on there is definitely the next step, atleast then you'll know if there is an issue with the board and can eliminate that.

No the 10 series don't have a VGA port, it's only DVI and HDMI, but what I tried doing was removing the graphics card and then plugging the VGA to the motherboard, and didn't work so yeah.

Problem about getting a speaker, is that I kinda live where not many places sell them, so I might have to wait a week or something.

I have done that as well. Nothing :/

Done this as well, I took everything out of the case and just had the motherboard, the ram, and CPU installed, the bare neccessities to get it up and running. And nothing still. I'll have to try it again but I don't think that is going to work.

Yep tried that, definetely not the ram. It should ramp down to 2133gHZ as soon as it gets plugged in from the system anyhow if that caused some issues.

I have not done that, but it is new and shouldn't have to be changed or anything like that, never have I had a problem with the CMOS battery, I have checked it though and it does have voltage going through it so its obviously working as per usual.

I do not, but through testing everything, with the fans and everything going, the system is getting enough power and there seems to be no fault with the power supply.

Anything else that is simple and easily forgotten, trust me I have litterally tried pretty much everything. And all I want to do is get the pc to show on the monitor, that's it...

Man I know, I changed the number on it because that was what I got before. Then when I found out it was wrong, I returned it and got the right one, which is the 7300 4ghz. So that's not the problem, the CPU is the right one.
