Hi, i recently bought a new pc and i decided to use my old monitor, my pc does not have a VGA port, so i had to use a converter that converts from VGA to DVI, but im not getting any signal and im receiving the error "No video input" following "entering sleep mode" and i dont know what to do. These are my specs;
My specs: Intek i7 8700k, asus 8gb 1070 ti, 16 gb ddr4-3000mhz corsair vengeance XMP, Asus Prime Z370-P
Hope you guys can help me out

The GeForce GTX 1070 Ti doesn't produce an analog (i.e. VGA) signal. A passive DVI to VGA pass-through adapter won't do anything. You would need an active DVI-D to VGA or an active HDMI to VGA or an active DisplayPort to VGA adapter. VGA is a dead industry standard and has been phased out by graphics card manufacturers.

What is the brand and model of your monitor?
