New PC not Dislpaying any video from card or onboard

I recently purchased an ROG Strix Z390-H, this board is really nice and I'm happy with the build quality. However, I have yet to get any display out of it after messing with it for 2 days. If anyone has any tips I would appreciate it.

Specs:
MB: Z390-H
CPU: Core I3 8100
GPU: GT1030
Ram: Ballistix Sport DDR4 4GB x2
PSU: Rosewill Photon 650W 80+

This is how I have been testing, I'm really confused as none of the error leds light up either.
I believe purchasing an onboard speaker would work as I could actually get some useful information from the mb itself

Did you plug your monitor into your gpu and not motherboard?
