[SOLVED] New pc not loading up

I've just built a brand new pc all new parts with ryzen 7 2700 ASRock b450m hdv and gtx 1060 6gb and vengeance 8gb stick of ram but I can't get any output to my monitor and my keyboard and mouse don't light up even when plugged into all the different USB. Can anyone help?

Make sure all connections are done correctly, and make sure to plug your monitor into the GPU ports and not the motherboard ports.

Ive done that it doesn't work

Make sure the RAM is put in the correct slots, for single stick or two sticks there is a specific slot/slots that need to be used, it should be mentioned in the motherboard manual. Does the PC start, i.e. do the fans spin up? Also, what type of cable are you using for the signal to the monitor?
