New pc parts?

Hi everyone I was just wondering what you guys think of these hardware for my new pc. Motherboard:Gigabyte G1.Sniper. Processor:Intel i7 960. Graphicscard:Nvidia GTX 580. Any other sugestions welcome. Werner. Pretoria South Africa.

Go with 1155. That motherboard you picked is probably overkill or what you need. I7-960 is dead. Get the i7-2700k if you need the hyperthreading, or the i5-2500k for gaming. For motherboard the asrock z68 extreme3 gen3 or extreme4.

if its just for gaming get an AMD fusion A8 3850 .

No need to speed the extra on overpriced intel parts

But if I can get the parts cheap. It is all new stuff in SA. The i7-2700k is not even here yet.
