Yes. Using the 1600 should work, as it's a supported cpu.

And what exactly is an inside exclusive? Just because its exclusive doesn't make it a good psu. I dont know anything about that brand, so wont say much. Other than the psu is the lifeblood of the whole system, and you dont want to trust bottom barrel parts to support a nice gaming rig.
Yes i am connecting to my gpu and the specs is
ryzen 5 3600
1tb hdd
Msi x470 gaming plus
GTx 1060 3gb Oc edition
NZXT h500i
8x2gb 3.2 MHz Corsair vengance Rgb pro ram
In order for your system to work, you need to perform a BIOS update. Your motherboard requires a bios update that supports 3000 series CPUs. And where did you find that piece of filth PSU? I've never heard that brand name. I would swap it out immediately, if I were you.

You can't update the bios with your current pc. You need to borrow a 2000 series ryzen and do the update, there's no other way(or a local shop could do it for you). You should really do your research before buying components and throwing them in. If you have the money, buy a better PSU, I wouldn't trust your current one even with a 5 year old PC. I'm surprised it hasn't fried anything in your computer.

Got the stuff setup on much r5 1600x so how do I update the motherboard (X470 Gaming Plus)
There will be directions in your motherboard manual or available on the product website.

You'll more than likely need a flash drive to load it onto. Start with an empty drive. From bios, you might even be able to do it via the internet.

But just check the manual or product support page to verify.

THing is im dyslexic so I can’t read manuals lmao can you take like5 mins of your time and check for me

If it's not locking, you may have the CPU installed wrong. The pins should drop in. On the socket, there should be a small arrow in one corner. On one corner of your processor, there should be a gold arrow. That must align with the arrow on the socket.

If you know for sure it's in properly, you may have to use a little force. One of my last boards was that way that I was almost scared of breaking it. But I knew it was in correctly. Just double and triple check things.
