Hello,
I have just purchased the following and have been told bya friend who isnt a PC Specialist that my CPU will be in trouble of overheating due to the overclocking.
CPU: NEW! Intel Core i5 2500K @ 4.7Ghz
CPU Cooler: NEW! Xigmatek HDT-S963
8 GB RAM
Operating System: Microsoft® Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Motherboard: NEW! Gigabyte Z68A-D3
Hard Drives: NEW! 1TB S-ATAIII 6.0Gb/s
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB
500W Ximatek PSU

Have you assembled the computer to see if it runs stable and what temps you are getting? 4.7 seems to be quite high without having liquid cooling so you might want to look into that if you find the temps to be too high.

so it should all be ok?? i contacted Dinopc and they said the 500W Ximatek is a great PSU and i also have a 2 year parts warranty.. i only ordered it last night so will be about a week before it arrives.

Going by some reviews on bit-tech, prime95 @ 4.9 draws about 221W, and gaming load on a 560ti is about 150ish, so let's say, with mb and other stuff, you may be pulling 400W total. so it should be ok. Just don't overclock your graphics card too much also, that will start causing some issues.

Although your posts are confusing, you say you havne't had a warning so far but at the end you say it will be a week before it arrives? Are you getting a replacement psu or ???

no, basically last night i ordered it all online and as you choose components for the PC ifsomething is uncompatible there will be a warning message that pops up when customising and i didnt get it when customising this PC soi assume the 500W is compatible.
