New pc randomly crashing, I don’t know what to do.

So I just built my first rig about a month ago, it was very exciting. I’ve been wanting this for years now.

The past few weeks have been a nightmare though. It crashes randomly, sometimes while playing a game, sometimes while just sitting at the desktop.

What happens is my screen goes black, my keyboard and mouse led’s turn off, then my screen reads “no signal”. What I don’t understand is my tower stays on. Lights on, fans spinning. My temps and clocks are all normal. Sometimes it runs fine though, no crashes at all, but crashes more often than not. The worst part about this is since my case (nzxt s340) does not have a reset button, I have to turn the power off at the psu, which I’m sure is not good for the pc.

The only thing I did was manually set my ram to 3200 and voltage to 1.35. Nothing else has been tampered with. I even tried restoring to default settings completely, still crashes.

I’m not very knowledgeable in the troubleshooting department, and this is very discouraging. I’ve scanned my drives and they both come back with no errors. My drivers are up to date. I get nervous every time I turn my pc on.

Can anyone help me out here? I don’t know what to do. Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

If it helps, this is my build:

i also see 'perflib' quite alot.

The Open Procedure for service "BITS" in DLL "C:\Windows\System32\bitsperf.dll" failed. Performance data for this service will not be available. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the error code.

also, 'distributedCOM'

The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

The 100% EDC is fine, although you could set it to the Ryzen balanced plan in Windows so it only uses the power it needs.

As for the errors it seems to be a bit complicated but, this is a thread full of people with very similar problems to what you are experiencing.

It seems you need to change the security permissions of the folders you mention above. The folders are slightly different to what vampyren dealt with but, it should be similar none the less.
