Hello everyone. I have built a PC, and everything is running well, but the resolution seems a little too low. I'm not too sure where I put my graphics card disc, so I tried to get the drivers from the AMD website, and when I installed them, it told me I needed to reboot. I rebooted my pc, and after the starting windows screen, everything went black. I'm not too sure what went wrong, because it had appeared that everything was successful. I restored my computer to an earlier point, before the drivers were installed. Any suggestions? By the way, my card is a HIS 6670. (I know, pretty low end.)

Every graphics card has a low res mode that will run without any drivers.
Boot into safe mode(F8) and uninstall the old driver.
You also might want to run a driver cleaner app.
Normally, the amd web site will have the best driver for your card, obviating the need for the install cd.
Make certain you have the appropriate windows version installed.
