New pc restarts 3 times before booting ...

So i just built a pc the specs are
Ryzen 7 1700
Gtx 1060
Msi b350 tomahawk
16 gb corsair vengence lpx
So my problem is evertime i shutdown my pc and start it again it will restart 3 times before booting ..
After that it runs perfectly
I did no over clocking ...the ram runs at 3200
I read it online that the issue is due to bios ...
I am consedring updating the bios but inhave read a lot stories where the board bricks after bios update ..
I am in pakistan and if the motherboard bricks i cant get it repaired...
The new mobo will cost me around 220$ as no here use ryzen
Soo my main question is if i let my pc run as it is ..will it affect the life span of motherboard without hios upgrade ... is it safe to leave it as it is

Check your ram configuration (that its in correct slots & running dual channel)
& maybe drop xmp speed down to 2933mhz - this seems to stop that triple boot issue on these boards.

Bios update would likely solve it too but as you said,always a little risk there & thats upto you.

What bios revision is it currently running ??

I have never updated a BIOS in my life. But every situation is different. If you look up the BIOS version for the update, you will find what is known as a "Change Log". This will list all the updates. If there is nothing important, I would say it is safe to skip it if it is causing you problems. Wait for the update after that, and see if they solved the problem.

Rebooting three times before starting is usually a sign it's failing to train memory. As someone else noted check memory location and that it's properly seated. Also, do NOT use an XMP memory profile, just leave it all on AUTOMATIC. Then you can try manually setting memory speed and timing.

Also you probably really need to download the latest BIOS from MSI and load it as that will improve memory compatibility immensely especially for Corsair Vengeance lpx memory.
