I bought a new pc which was custom made, after a few days i get a sound coming from the pc, its random maybe every 8-15 minutes, my pc is on a wood floor the sound is like a vibration, or like a runner sound on a cheap wardrobe it lasts a second or fractionally more, i can hear it clearly in a quite house with background noise its audible but not so dramatic,
I have contacted the supplier they think its a psu sound and will take it back to have a look, i use the pc for work, sending it back is inconvenient the sound is annoying, i have tried different electric sockets with no difference, so my question is could it be a faulty power lead the pc was expensive and has sound proofing, are these sounds something i should accept.... ?? any help would be great, I am not technically minded thanks David
