Hello
Finished building and setting up my first pc, what's a good program to use for cpu/gpu testing and on what settings, here's what I got.

Msi1080ti armor
I5 9600k
Cryorig h7 cpu cooler
M.2 ssd
2tb hdd
750w evga gold psu
Z390 gigabyte gaming x mobo

I only have a 1080 monitor atm, but I want a 1440 144hz when I get the funds for it, is there a way to test if this build will be enough to run most games at that resolution? I'm a little worried about the 1080 didn't know it had such a bad heat sink on it till I bought it and it was delivered. Also I have an antec 900 case what's the best fan orientation, atm I got the top and back blowing out, and one front and side blowing in, the side one is really close to the gpu, is that a bad set up if it is?

My preferences for stress testing:

CPU: Intel Burn Test
GPU: FutureMark 3D Mark

Best way to test for the games and resolution is to simply play the games and see if you're happy with the results.

Userbenchmark has a decent all round "benchmarking" app which you can then compare to others, and it is good at cross referencing what kind of resolutions, settings, and resulting FPS others get with the same setup.
