New PC Upgrade

Hi there,

I'm looking to get a new pc as my old Phenom II B55 gave up on me today. I am considering getting a Ryzen 1300x B350 Motherboard and 8 gb 3200mhz ram. My question here is my ram frequency an overkill? and should i purchase dual channel or single channel memory. I'm looking to play games online like Dota 2 CSGO PUBG Tom clancy's rainbow siege six and some light video editing in premier pro I already own a gtx 1050 ti I am using a 720p monitor (planned to get 1080p one soon)

You can get a 1200 and just OC. Also a 1400 is only maybe 20 more.

And it isn’t. You really should get 2 sticks for dual channel and 3000 or 3200 for Ryzen for it to function optimally. Not as much of an issue with intel
