I built a new pc and when i turn it on everything appears working but if i plug it into a monitor it says there is no signal. Is it possible that there is a dead mobo or cpu in my build?

I have tried:
Reseating cpu, gpu, ram
Switching slots with 1 stick of ram
Using mobo hdmi port
Resetting bios
Changing hdmi cable
Using different monitor
Making sure mobo power cables are fully attached

Specs
Gigabyte ga-a320m-s2h
Patriot viper elite 8gb
Evga geforce gtx 1050 sc
Corsair vs400
Ryzen 3 1200
Wd 1tb

Since you've tested the graphics card in another system, this means the issue could be with the PCI-E slot on the motherboard, or an issue with the motherboard. Did you confirm the patriot memory is compatible with that motherboard?
Is there a diagnostic LED on the motherboard that might be lit up to tell you what is wrong? You can look up the light in the motherboard's manual.

So very helpful. :sarcastic: Aside from your personal preferences of what kind of motherboards you like to buy, what else can you add to the thread that will actually help the OP?

To the OP - that card comes with DVI-D; HDMI; and displayport. Have you tried DVI or displayport? Instead of buying another video card (to test) it seems like it would be much cheaper to buy a DVI cable for instance to narrow down possible causes.

The other thing I would try is to disable on-board graphics through the BIOS setting. Since you can't see anything on your screen currently, you will of course have to do so by connecting the video cable directly to the HDMI port on your motherboard rather than the video card. The HDMI port on your motherboard will support a maximum resolution of 4096x2160 so there is no reason why you can't do this unless the HDMI port is faulty.

What in the hell does that even mean? That's completely false. According to Gigabyte's own website, the maximum resolution when using the integrated graphics is as follows:

Integrated Graphics Processor:
1 x D-Sub port, supporting a maximum resolution of 1920x1200 @ 60 Hz
1 x DVI-D port, supporting a maximum resolution of 1920x1200 @ 60 Hz
1 x HDMI port, supporting a maximum resolution of 4096x2160 @ 24 Hz

Only the G series chips support integrated graphics.

Completely false. I have a Z270 chipset based motherboard and I can boot up to the desktop using the integrated graphics just fine.

Besides, talking about the Intel G-series chipset is totally irrelevant. The OP has a AMD based motherboard with an AMD A320 chipset. Furthermore, if the motherboard didn't support it, Gigabyte wouldn't have published it on their website.

He has an AMD Ryzen system. I am not talking about Intel.

Yes, the motherboard supports integrated graphics. The Ryzen 1300 does not.

Well, his cpu doesn't support integrated graphics, he has a ryzen 3 1200. He won't get a video signal by plugging his monitor into his motherboard's DSUB/DVI/HDMI port.

First try properly reset CMOS settings by removing the battery for a good half hour or so. Press the pwr on button to drain remaining electric charges from the mobo before putting the battery back in.

but my guess is OP has a defective hdmi cable. I would try it with DVI cable see if that works
