I got a new Alienware R16 on sale for Black Friday, and it's been great so far, but one issue I've noticed over my last PC was that Wi-Fi won't connect until I log in. My profile loads in the background before login, but programs like Steam and Ubisoft Connect complain that they can't connect because the computer won't connect to Wi-Fi until I log in, then it takes 10 - 15 seconds to connect. My last computer connected as soon as the login screen came up. I've tried Googling ways to resolve this, but none have worked. I tried changing power settings for the Wi-Fi adapter and changing GP to allow it to connect, but I have Win 11 Home with no GP editor. The Wi-Fi icon appears at the login screen, but the only option is airplane mode. Any other ideas? It's an Intel AX210. Not a huge issue, but an annoyance. TIA!

Just connect and start programs that require connection before I log in. Like I said, some that preload with my profile require connection and don't start properly because there's no Wi-Fi.

I tried using a USB wifi dongle, disabling the AX210 and rebooting. The computer connected to wifi at the login screen, so it seems like an issue with the AX210. Is there a setting somewhere I can change to make it connect? Any other advice?
