Question New pc wont boot but turns on

I have built a new pc today and it does not run when I finished building it I turned on the power supply and it instantly turned on without me pressing the power button all the fans and ELD are working but no display to the monitor I had a ssd and a hdd I tried just running it with one and still nothing I turn on the power supply switch it starts running and it does not boot up my monitor is left blank

My specs
Cpu: ryzen 5 3600
Gpu: gigabyte gtx 1060 6gb
Ram: 16gb ddr 4 3200 dual 2x8
Motherboard: MSI b450 pro-vdh max
Power supply: corsair 550w 80+ gold
Case: corsair carbide series spec 05
SSD: 500gb
HDD 1.2tb

I had a similar issue once and it turned out that during a power surge my SSD got fried. It was a M.2 SSD and did used to get very hot so i think that might have been the root problem. I had o replace it. In your case, I would double check all cable connections against the mobo instruction manual to be certain it isn't a simple wiring issue.

I did plug in the pcie and I am using a vga connection but I know that the connection isnt the issue couse I used it on my old pc like 20min before trying my new one
