Thanks so much in advance. New PC. Wont boot. Breadboarded. Fans and lights run. Get single beep but no signal to monitor. Tried multiple monitors and hdmis. No VGA option on motherboard to test. Tried two different PSUs. Bought a new motherboard. Made sure I was extraaaa careful putting together over cardboard. Took one memory stick out and tested one at a time in both channels. Nothing. Only thing I haven't gotten new of is CPU. At wits end here and no idea where to go from here. Specs listed below.
MSI Z370i gaming pro carbon.
Intel i5-9600k
Corsair Rm750x
Corsair vengeance 32 GB 3000
The only thing I can think of is that Mobo says compatible with 8th gen processors but nothing about 9th gen although msi support says they can be updated although I dont know if Msi did that themselves or if I'd have to do that myself which is why its not registering. Could it be the CPU or what? Thanks so much, any help/advice is appreciated.

lol. 9th gen CPU requires Z390 to work out of the box.
For Z370 you need to use an 8th gen CPU to be able to update the BIOS.

That's your problem.

Single beep means CPU error.

And that motherboard from what I can tell doesn't support updating the BIOS passively which means you need an 8th gen chip in it so you can update the BIOS to support 9th gen.

Return all components you can for your money back and buy a Z390 motherboard.

Or go to a local computer repair shop and ask them if they have any 8th gen chips lying around they could use to update your BIOS.

I can recommend you a board if you tell me your budget for one and your country.

I'm going to be honest with you.
I don't see how PCPP can somehow let you down.
When you add components together that may have compatibility issues, it will tell you so quite noticeably.

I used it 2 or 3 weeks ago and the only incompatibility was that it needed a stock cooler...i even have a screen shot showing no incompatabilities that I sent to my BIL to show him what I was getting. They probably updated that very recently, bc I checked when I put it together lol. But thank you for the time and answer!

Probably. I got it all squared away with the correct motherboard. Boots up just fine but now I have issues with games crashing to desktop!! Out of the frying pan and into the fire :/
