I just finished my first ever PC build the other day only to realise that my HDD has not been detected by windows and everything has been installed on my SSD (which is fine) but I need my HDD to operate as well since all my old files from my old PC are on there. Everything is connected up properly its a 3.5" drive and every required cable is connected. Ive plugged it into the SATA 3 port on my mobo which is the right one and it doesnt show up (tried sata 2 just in case).

ssd is m2

amd ryzen 5 3600
gtx 1050ti
aorus b450 elite mobo
corsair rm 850x
corsair vengeance 16gb

Did you find a solution to this? I’m having the same issue but I don’t have an ssd. I have 2 HDDs that are plugged in and connected with a brand new power supply and they aren’t showing in bios

Anybody find a fix? I have two WD HDD that wont detect in eitheer of my pc's. Each one has an ssd in them for bootable device. HDD's wont show up in bios, diskmng, or cmd prompt diskpart. Both are new drives with new cables.
