I have a new PC in which I finished constructing yesterday. As of right now my only issue with it is that I can't download Windows 10 onto it. I have a copy of it burned onto a disk and a flash drive and can't launch it from either. The only program I have access to are the bios and those aren't helping me at all. I've set the USB and CD/DVD options as the #1 way to boot up my stuff, yet nothing happens. It always takes me to a screen that says "Remove disks or other media. Press any key to restart." And when I press any key, it brings up "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key." Despite doing exactly that I'm always brought to the same screen. I have been sitting here for hours with no solution. My parts are brand new and were straight out of the box, all except for my disk drive and the wire connecting my hard drive to be motherboard. I doubt either of them are broken or messed up, however. When I go to the boot menu as opposed to the bios it gives me the options of:
SATA3 : TOSHIBA-TL100
SATA5 : WDC WD10EZEX-08WN4A0
SATA4 : ATAPI DVD A DH16A6S
Enter Setup
Choosing Enter Setup brings me back to the bios menu. Choosing anything else just takes me to the black screen telling me to enter a boot device. Nothing is working and I'm getting really worried.
I have an MSI B150 PC Mate motherboard.
