New PC, won't output to monitor

Hey guys,

I just finished building my PC and I've connected it to my monitor using a HDMI cable and the monitor stays blank. Everything inside my PC is new.

When i turn on my computer the fans all start spinning and the power button lights up. I'm fairly sure it's not a MOBO problem because the fans are connected to the MOBO. I've also tried replacing the RAM and using different sockets but still no success. If anyone has any idea on how to fix this issue it would be much appreciated as this is my first build and i would like to get it running as soon as I can.

Is the monitor plugged into your Graphics Card or did you connect to your motherboard by accident?

have you checked monitor's input source? Is there any beep when boot up?
