New pc won't power on

Hello everyone I cannot power on my new pc. This is the first time I have built it my own.

Motherboard: Gigabyte AX370 gaming k5
CPU:Ryzen 1700x
Ram: Gskill trident Z16gb (2x8) 3200hrtz cl16
PSU: Corsair CX 650M
GPU: gtx 1060 3gb *
Tower Old but mostlikely working.


I just assembled my new pc into the case without my GPU (currently working on another machine).
Tried to start the pc but nothing happened, then I read that ryzen require gpu in order to work (not sure if they mean that without GPU it doest even start up.) Anyway, I place my Gtx 1060 but still the pc didn't start. I am really confused, no fans spinning no nothing.
First I thought that power button isn't working so I overcut it with a screwdriver but still no power on.

Any suggestions?

Double check installation, make sure everything is plugged in.

Are you getting any lights at all? Do you have PSU light? Did you test PSU?

PSU and motherboard are the two you should troubleshoot first.

It was actually my pc tower or standoffs dunno exactly something was creating a shortcut.
