Hey all, I've been running into some annoying issues with my newly built PC and could use your help and expertise.
I've already tried the system scan and repair, shuffling around the RAM dimms, tweaking the power settings, and updating my GPU drivers. I haven't found anything in the system events that indicates any issues. and the Energy report doesn't show any issues either.

Issue 1 - Display doesn't wake up from sleep mode
Just as the title states, once my PC goes to sleep, the display won't wake up. Fans will spin, RGB lights up including the mouse, but there will be no display signal. Disabling EXPO worked for a day, but the issue came back pretty quickly. USB select suspend is disabled. I've also tried changing from DP to HDMI and using a different monitor, but the issue persists.

Issue 2 - Desktop wallpaper turns black a few seconds after boot
When I hover over desktop icons, the section wallpaper behind the icon will turn black, and then after a bit, the whole wallpaper turns black. Restarting Windows Explorer in the task manager fixes this, but I'd like to find a more permanent solution.

Any help is much appreciated.

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

You might want to use DDU to remove all GPU drivers from your platform(Intel, AMD and Nvidia) then manually reinstall with the latest drivers sourced from Nvidia's support site in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Would also be a good idea to see if your SSD is pending any firmware updates, using Samsung's Magician App.

Thanks for responding.
I'm on BIOS version E7D75AMS.1B0

Just tried doing a clean GPU driver install using DDU in safe mode. Just to be safe, I removed Nvidia, AMD, and Intel drivers, the black desktop issue persisted after I cleared the drivers and after I reinstalled the drivers as well.

Samsung Magician did have a firmware update for my SSD, but no luck there either.
