Hello,
I upgraded my gpu and got the Gigabyte RX 9070. My current setup also has a 7800X3D
2x16 kingston 6000mhz (expo profile)
X670 aorus elite ax mobo.
The first day I installed the gpu everything was running fine no stability issues. The 2nd day I tried to boot I got a red led on the dram on the motherboard, it tried to boot and couldn't causing it to restart and re try which ended up in a bios screen asking me to restore the settings to default which helped the pc boot. After troubleshooting by updating bios putting the ram back in reinstall drivers etc couldn't fix the issue. So I couldn't have my ram run at 6k with the new gpu despite being able to the 1st day. After putting some thought to it I decided to remove the Auto configuration on the x16 pcie slot to forced gen 4 and the ram seems to work with the expo profile at 6k. Anyone had similar issue? Makes sense to anyone? The motherboard only supports x4 gen 5 pcie and I think its only for storage. Also the ram rgb seems to turn on last compared to the other pc parts which it didn't before. Last gpu consumed more power so I don't think it's a psu issue not being able to power it all.
