Hello Guys.
Currently I am having Athon II X4 620 on M2N68-AM PLUS.
Which should I buy -
Phenom II X4 965
Phenom II X6 1055T
Phenom II X6 1090T
Main work of my computer is gaming.I want to overclock my CPU too.
If I go for X6 models should this motherboard will support them or not.If not please suggest me a good one for them having good overclocking potential.

Have you tried overclocking your current CPU? It shouldn't be too hard to get it up to 3.0GHz or higher. If you want to upgrade, go for the 965.

If you're stuck with 95w CPUs the Phenom II 945 95w will do ya fine.

Like said, try overclocking. The Athlon IIs are pretty good gaming chips once you pump a little juice into them.

Your looking at a small performance gain upgrading the cpu, Phenom II is less than 10% faster than Athlon II when clocked the same, what is your current video card set up?

If you really want to upgrade, grab a Phenom II X4 955, the 965 isn't worth the price increase and if you overclock you'll get the same end result with either processor. Don't grab a Phenom II X6 for gaming, due to slightly lower clock speeds they actually loose to the Phenom II X4 955/965 in some games at stock speed, and overclocked perform no better because the games don't use the extra 2 cores.

Just make sure the 955 you get has C3 stepping.

At Asus site it says that it is compatible with X6:

The last one.
What is meant by the C3 stepping of 955?
