I just wanted a new set of ears because I've gone through a fairly big change in terms of computer position as well as hardware. My CPU seems louder than usual, but I also didn't use to sit right next to it until recently. I also redid the wiring to ensure all the peripheral fans were working, so the computer is just louder in general.

Sometimes it sounds clicky, like a processor.

I am more worried about the dull while when the phone is close. It's an iphone8, and the sound it picks up sounds a lot worse in the video (When very close) than when it's just my ear next to it.

Any advice would be appreciated.

The EVGA 850 G2 generally is a loud power supply. The fan (140mm) runs at 1200 RPM from 340w delivery, as tested at TechPowerUp. 46.5 dBA measured in those tests.

For comparison the Corsair RMx 850 V2 was found to be 10 - 11 dBA from 340 - 600w load, with the 135mm fan spinning at ~610RPM

What are your full system specs?
