Hi
i had a ASUS R9 270X 2GB card no crashes everything was fine.
I bought a PowerColor R9 280X and it has not 6 + 8 Pins like the R9 270X had, but 8 + 8, but anyway, i hooked it up to, turned it on, works fine.
Then i tried playing a few games, when i played Wircher 3 i think it was, the PC just shut down.
There was no BIOS error, BlueScreen or what ever, it just went off. I pushed the Power Button, PC didnt turn on, i flipped the switch of the PSU off and on after that i could normaly start the PC.
It happened now 5 days after the installation again, ingame..
So it seems like PSU cant keep up, is it a thing? Can it be? I heard that for a R9 280X you need at least 750W PSU, others say you need only 500-600 W, so what is it?
Do i have to buy a new PSU?
Can someone help?
