[SOLVED] New powerful PC Build, please advice!

Hello everyone,

I want to build a new PC and I found this great forum! Here are the details:


Approximate Purchase Date: next week

Budget Range: 1200-1700Eur

System Usage: Working with graphics, video editing, 3D.

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS, HDD, also I have PSU from my last PC but it has only 400W power so not sure will it be enough.

Country: Lithuania

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1200, 2048×1536

I noticed you said Lithuania, however you linked UK price pcpartpicker, so I went off GBP prices.

I love AMD suggestion. It's ~same performance but much lower price.

I wanted to ask, why this better:
Corsair TXM Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply £69.99
Instead of this one:
be quiet! System Power 9 600 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply £51.58

The TXM is better quality.
The System power 9 is one of be quiets! lowest quality models.

• TXM has 7 years warranty as opposed to 3
• SP9 does not have great cross load test results
• SP9 has low quality bulk caps
• SP9 tends to show it has poor transient response mainly on the 3.3V rail.
• TXM is also more efficient.

The SP9 is OK, but the TXM series is better. You tend to get what you pay for with PSUs.
