Hello,
I am planning on upgrading my Intel Pentium G4560 to a better and newer processor.
I have done some research and I want to buy an I7-7700 tray and with a Be Quiet Pure Rock 2.
However, my friends are trying to convince me to buy a Ryzen 7 3700x which means that I would have to buy a new motherboard. I am currently running a MSI H110M ECO lga 1151 motherboard which hasn't bottlenecked me other than 330 mhz of my RAM and the Pentium is running with a 1050 TI which is slightly overclocked
The arguments my friends are giving are that a ryzen has 4 extra cores and that I will probably have to replace my processor in a few years if I purchase an I7 non K version. I don't really feel the need to do an upgrade of around 450 euros. But if you guys think it is a better idea to get a Ryzen 7 3700x with a new mb than i'll probably go for that. So please let me know what you would do, an I7-7700 with a nice cooler totalling around 330 euros, or a Ryzen 7 3700x stock cooler and a new motherboard totalling around 450 euros or go for an I7-7700k which would bring the total up to around 430 euros.
