[SOLVED] New psu cables affecting system?

I am getting new PSU cables today to get rid of the let up and mustard cables bless lol. Im only waiting out the 24pin connector, the cpu power cable and the gpu power cable. Will these switches affect anything the next time I turn it on? Basically if I unplug any of these cable from the motherboard/gpu will I need to do anything the next time I turn it back on from plugging it in? Or is it more of just like “plug and play”. Thanks! Hope that makes sense.

If you are just replacing PSU cables.....power down....touch the case to get rid of any static.....replace the cables....make sure they are snug etc...power up.
There is nothing special you need to do.
