I am sorry if this question has been posted before.

I am looking to buy a new PSU for my hp elitedesk 800 G1 tower. Now I know the basic stuff that motherboard of 800 g1 tower doesn't have a 24 pin connection. I have to buy a conversion adopter. I am confused in choosing an adopter for this conversion. I think I might go for this adopter on aliexpress

I will need to make a few changes according to a comment on the above link which says:
"Nothing narrowed, there is nothing to break, but you need to pay attention to which motherboard you order. Otherwise, it will be necessary to change the pick on the P2.
Additional Feedback: The adapter is quite working, but for my HP elitedesk G1 Twp spin did not fit. I had to change pines. Look at the picture. "

There are 3 pictures attached to it as well. So, my question was should I buy this?

Should I buy ATX 24pin to Motherboard 2-port 6pin adapter Power supply cable Cord for HP from the link attached above?
